About

Alicia Divico, LMHC, CAP
Licensed Mental Health Counselor
My journey began most consciously in high school when I evaluated my skills and decided I would do well in psychology. I maintained that goal all the way to graduate school, and I remember my first day there, sitting in my first class thinking, “This is exactly where I belong.” Now I know that many people do not have the privilege of feeling passionate about what they set out to do and for that I am grateful.I obtained my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, followed by my Master’s in Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling with a certificate in Behavioral Health, all from the University of South Florida.
Throughout graduate school, we students were encouraged to go to therapy ourselves. I followed that directive as well and learned just how uncomfortable it can be to sit in vulnerability. For me it was both anxiety provoking and enlightening. Years later, I worked my way to being a licensed mental health counselor and a certified addictions professional, which grants me permission to work with both mental health and substance abuse concerns/issues.
I spent the first 6 years of my career working at a drug rehabilitation facility doing intensive outpatient (individuals and groups), methadone maintenance, and DUI groups. I never imagined myself doing that type of work, but what I realized is that substance use is never about the substance and addicts are some of the strongest people I’ve ever met.

Kandace L. Nollie, LMHC
Licensed Mental Health Counselor
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the State of Florida and an avid dog lover! I hold a Bachelors Degree in Psychology and a Masters Degree in Mental Health Counseling, and have over 10 years of experience working with children, teens, and adults. Starting in the Department of Juvenile Justice, my belief in rehabilitation has allowed me to gain experience in several populations , ranging from incarcerated clients to clients involved in the child welfare system.
I truly believe in positive self-talk and a healthy self-esteem, and everyday I challenge myself to practice what I preach! My goal in counseling is to be a guide, in this sometimes confusing world, for men and women struggling with substance abuse, depression, anxiety, or a history of trauma/domestic violence. As a survivor of Domestic Violence, I know firsthand, the effects that trauma can have on our minds, bodies, and overall self-esteem, and that is why my approach to counseling is based on what my clients need versus what a textbook says. I hope to lead my clients to a level of understanding of their mental health concerns, and in turn guide them to clarity and resolution. Life is serious enough, so humor is often what I use to help my clients become comfortable with the therapeutic process! Please feel free to contact me to see if my approach to therapy can help you make your first STEPS TO WELLNESS!

Kelly Lane, LMHC
Licensed Mental Health Counselor
There was a moment in my life when I asked “Why me?! Why does life have to hurt?” It was that small voice that said “How can you help people if you don’t understand where they are coming from?”
Life was chaotic from the start. I married young and became a mother at a young age. I have spent over 22 years as a military spouse facing the many challenges military life brings specially during combat and frequent deployments. I even understand the lose of a loved dear to the heart.
I believe that everyone has the potential to overcome the obstacles that life throws at them. But when we are stuck in the darkness of depression, the fears of anxiety, the grief that lasts, or the nightmares that remind us of our trauma; the hardest step is asking for help. It is my goal to work along side with clients to replace the negative self-talk and the coping skills that no longer work, with positive and more effective skills they can carry with them long after they leave a session.
I have worked along side children and foster children, teens, and adults who have struggled with depression, anxiety, suicidal thoughts, trauma, and grief. While I have extensive training in trauma focused therapy and CBT. I work with clients to find what is best for them. I am caring, empathic, but also funny because sometimes laughter is the best medicine. There is no judgment in my office and I am dedicated to ending the stigma around mental health. If you are ready for change and open to trying new skills, give me a call.

Melanie Reynolds, LMT
Licensed Massage Therapist
There is nothing more rewarding in massage than adding benefit to someone’s life! I have a nurturing spirit and a passion for what I do! My hands and years of experience are able to heal, to help, and to uplift you!
I have 16 years of Medical and Therapeutic Massage experience at a prominent chiropractic and injury center. I encountered various levels of trauma to the body both physically and mentally. During that time, I also took over and ran a non-profit addiction recovery home for woman for 12 years. My mom ran it for the 20 years prior, and it was an amazing experience.
I take all I have experienced and learned, and bring it to you through healing touch and understanding. We often don’t think of how life, stress, and/or trauma can affect our bodies. Not only does it impact us mentally and emotionally, but physically in our muscles, tissue, etc. I love to help, and I look forward to meeting you!

What our clients are saying
I felt like someone was actually listening to my struggles and hearing me...
"I have been seeing Alicia since November of 2016; I had just started nursing school and was ending yet another, unhealthy relationship. My emotions have gotten in the way of my success in the past and I wanted this time to be different. I wanted to figure out why this kept happening, I wanted to know what I was doing wrong and I wanted to fix it. I have battled depression since my father died when I was ten years old which lead to self-harm by the age of 12. Over the last 20 years I have had countless unhealthy relationships of various degrees that I never consciously realized were chipping away at my happiness, self-confidence, and only worsening the depression. Now I have been to therapy before; more than one therapist, more than one session, and all with the same result. Being told I was a smart girl, I had a good understanding of myself, the issues, the solutions, and that I seemed fine. Then going home crying myself to sleep, having trouble getting out of bed and hurting myself? How was this fine? Just because I laughed and smiled publically. I felt even more isolated. For years I stayed away because I already knew what I was going to be told. On the other hand, I knew I couldn’t make the same decisions and expect different results. I decided to give therapy one last chance so I reached out to my employers EAP program and was given a list of therapists."
"I called and researched the names and then I stumbled across Alicia’s psychology today page “If you stay open-minded, honest, and are willing to do something different, we can work together to find understanding, ways to cope, & ultimately relief.” I thought, that’s me! Exactly everything I’ve wanted for years."
"After meeting Alicia, for the first time I felt like someone was actually listening to my struggles and hearing me. From day one she explained to me that this is a journey and if I was in it, so was she. Over the last 14 months I have gained self-confidence, I’ve learned to stand up for myself and not let people treat me poorly, I am finally accepting the love I actually deserve and not the love or lack thereof that I was receiving. Although this is a constant journey and it does not happen overnight. Seeing Alicia has shown me that there’s absolutely nothing wrong with me and that a short coming can be a strength with the right mind power behind it. We all have our own experiences that make up our reality and you don’t have to carry your pain and your struggles alone."
- Not Alone
"I am much happier than I have been in a long time..."
"When I met Alicia I was in a pretty low place. I felt isolated, confused and deeply hurt. I had been avoiding therapy for most of my life. I have tried a few therapists throughout the years, but none made me feel as comfortable as Alicia. I felt an instant relief after our first session; life didn’t seem so isolated anymore. I’m not quite where I need to be, but I am a long way from the place I used to be. I feel much more confident. I am no longer confused and so much more focused. It’s soon approaching a year on my sessions with Alicia, but it feels like yesterday. I say that in a good way. Where did all the time go, but more importantly, I am much happier than I have been in a long time. I look forward to the continued progress I am making in my sessions and by far Alicia is the best therapist I could’ve wished for.
"
- More Focused & Confident
"I would most definitely recommend Alicia to anybody looking for a therapist."
"Finding a therapist you connect with can be a very difficult task. I had just about given up on
finding someone when my psychiatrist gave me Alicia’s number and told me to set up an
appointment. It can be nerve-wracking to open up to a complete stranger about the struggles
you’re facing in your life, but Alicia made it easy right off the bat. I’ve been going to her once a
week for almost 6 months now and I’m so thankful I found her. When I’m in her office, it is a
safe space and I’ve never felt judged or looked down upon. She is extremely supportive, patient,
and by far the best fit for me as a client. I would most definitely recommend Alicia to anybody
looking for a therapist."
- Safe and supported
